In July of 2009, Mr. Anderson was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of The LGL Group, Inc., the (“Company”).  He joined MtronPTI, our operating subsidiary, in 2001 as Site General Manager and Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
 
Mr. Anderson has over twenty years of experience in high-tech manufacturing businesses, which includes both low volume/high mix OEM custom products coupled with experience gained in high volume/low cost consumer products.  He also brings considerable international experience to the Company, including Asian sales, sourcing and supply chain development and management.
 
Mr. Anderson began his career by earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Jamestown College and his Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.  He has also held positions with 3M Corporation/Imation Corporation, prior to joining MtronPTI in 2001; such as Operations Manager, Plant Manager and Business Development Manager.
 
In addition to the above, Mr. Anderson holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the LGL Group’s subsidiary, M-tron Industries, Ltd., President and Chairman of the Board of The LGL Group’s subsidiary, Piezo Technology, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of the LGL Group, Inc.’s subsidiary, Piezo Technology India Private Ltd.

In March of 2010, Mr. Clifton was appointed Chief Accounting Officer of The LGL Group, Inc., the (“Company”).  He joined the Company in August of 2009, as Corporate Controller.
 
Mr. Clifton has over fifteen years of experience in the financial, accounting and insurance industries.  He also holds his Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Florida and is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs.  In addition, Mr. Clifton also served as a member of the Audit Committee of Community First Credit Union of Florida.
 
Mr. Clifton began his career by earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration degree in General Business from the University of North Florida.  He has also held the positions of Chief Financial Officer for a21, Inc. and Senior Auditor of KPMG LLP, with experience in the insurance, software, real estate development, retail, hospitality, transportation and mining industries.  Prior to joining KPMG, Mr. Clifton held several accounting and finance positions with Aetna, Inc.
