In January of 2013, James L. Williams was appointed to serve as LGL’s Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer.
Mr. Williams has over 15 years of senior-level finance experience gained from both large and small companies, including ABM Industries, one of the largest publicly-held facility management services in the U.S., Southeastern U.S. Insurance, and Georgia-Pacific Corporation, a world-leading producer of forest-based products. He holds his Certified Public Accountant license in the State of Florida and the State of Georgia. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor.
Mr. Williams began his career by earning his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University, Coles College of Business. Mr. Williams also held the position of Managing Partner and President of Williams, Cook & Reed, P.C., a local CPA firm and Senior Auditor and Computer Specialist of A.M Pullen & Company, a large regional CPA firm.
